About John Minigan

Johnminigan

John Minigan's plays have been produced by the Orlando Shakespeare Festival; by the Circle Repertory Company, the Quaigh Theater and Shelter West in New York City; and by various companies throughout the eastern United States. His prose has been published in literary journals, including The Chicago Review, and he has been guest poet and reader in London's Sub-Voicive series. His play Unteaching the Shakespeare Code was a nominee for the Weissberger Award at the Williamstown Theatre Festival and his writing collaborations with students have won the Massachusetts High School Drama Guild Festival of one-act plays.

He holds a Master's in Playwriting from Smith College and has trained and taught with Shakespeare and Company in Lenox, Massachusetts.

He currently teaches theater and Shakespeare in greater Boston, where he lives with his wife and two children.
