If pictures could inspire a love of theatre….

…..These pictures of the Royal Alexandra Theatre in Toronto by Edward Burtynsky would do the job. The theatre just looks so beautiful.

I saw Les Miserables twice at the Royal Alex from the tip tip top of the theatre in the seats past the nosebleeds. And because the theatre feels so intimate it was still a great ‘experience.’  The theatre IS an experience all on its own. Although, as a teenager I was coo-coo loco for Les Miserables and now, not so much. I wonder why.
