We’re thrilled to announce that we’re now distributing an excellent DVD series on Technical Theater. This is the first non-Theatrefolk product we’ve ever carried.
We first met Bob and Marti Fowler a few years ago at the International Thespian Festival in Lincoln, Nebraska. They are truly two of the most gifted & generous people we know. They’re nice too. We consider them to be honourary Canadians.
They were at the festival promoting their DVD Series, Practical Technical Theater. We’ve been to dozens of conferences with Bob and Marti since and we’ve pretty much seen all of the DVDs from start to finish. It’s a really fantastic series. The DVDs are practical & highly visual. Every concept is explained verbally and visually. Each DVD also comes with a CD-Rom with:
- Alignments to the National Standards for Arts Education
- Lesson Designs aligned to Bloom’s
- Resources Sheets (that can be put into binders and become the student’s textbooks)
- Written Assessments
- Writing Prompts
- Performance Rubrics
- Projects
- Handouts (that can also be run off on a large format printer to make posters)
