Are you a Shakespeare fan? I mean, a BIG fan? As in, you’d be willing to watch every single play over the course of a summer? Meet Chris Judson, English teacher from Concord High School in Elkhart, Indiana, who did just that. Judson received a grant to travel the US throughout the summer of 2009 seeing every single play in the Shakespeare canon.
From his grant proposal:
I plan to accomplish the ultimate renewal and experience for anyone who enjoys words: to see performances of all of William Shakespeare’s plays in one summer by actors who are amateurs in the park to professionals on an air-conditioned stage.
