What We're Looking For

Have you written something suitable for student performance? Theatrefolk is seeking original creative scripts for publication.

We are looking for full lengths and one acts. The one acts should be at least twenty minutes long.

With the exception of classical adaptations, the majority of the characters in the script must be youths.

What We're Not Looking For

• Ten minute plays
• Monologues / Single-character pieces
• Scene collections

Preferred Scripts

Plays with the following characteristics tend to be more popular with our customers:

• Flexible casting
  (e.g. doubling, gender flexible)
• More females than males
• Competition-length one-acts

How to Submit

We no longer accept scripts by mail. Scripts may be submitted via email only.

The only formatting requirement is that the play be easy to read.

Please include a brief synopsis along with production history & reviews (if applicable). It is not necessary for the script to have a prior production.
