Submission Policy

Have you written something suitable for student performance? Theatrefolk is seeking original creative scripts for publication.

We are looking for full lengths and one acts at least twenty minutes long.

With the exception of classical adaptations, the majority of the characters in the script must be youths.

Preferred Scripts

We prefer plays with:

• Flexible casting
  (e.g. doubling, gender flexible)
• More females than males
• Competition-length one-acts

Don't Send

• Ten minute plays
• Single-character pieces
• Scene collections

Ready to Submit?

• Scripts may be submitted via email only.
• Include a brief synopsis along with production history & reviews (if available).
• The only formatting requirement is that the play be easy to read and understand.
