Anatomy of a Showstopper

I love being ‘behind the scenes’ and I love hearing about creative inception and what goes into building a play, a piece of art, a movie, a dance.

The New York Times has a lovely slideshow called The Anatomy of a Showstopper. It details in pictures and text the thoughts behind three ‘showstopper’ numbers in three Broadway shows. What goes into a showstopper?

Thanks NYT!
