Announcement: The Script Bank to close July 31st

If you’ve been on the edge about whether or not to join the Script Bank, now is the time to leap. The program will be closed to new sign-ups and renewals on July 31st.

Thanks so much to everyone who participated in the Script Bank over the years. It was a fun ride!

Here are some questions and answers about this announcement. If your question isn’t answered here, please get in touch and we’ll be happy to help.

Why is the Script Bank going away?

As innovative as it was, there wasn’t enough participation to justify the resources we were putting into it. When the program first launched it was the only way to get a PDF version of our scripts. Now that all of our scripts are available individually in electronic format, Script Bank membership makes sense for fewer schools.

What if I have a current Script Bank membership? Will I still be able to access the Script Bank after July 31st?

Yes, absolutely. Nothing changes for current Script Bank members except that when their membership expires it won’t be available for renewal.

What about the normal PDF download / photocopy license options. Are they changing as well?

No. Everything else stays the same. All of the Script Bank plays are still available “à la carte” as they always have.

Have a great summer,
Lindsay and Craig
