Over at the Publishers Weekly Blog they have a post featuring the business cards of literary characters. (I totally failed at picking out the books – how did you do?)
Lack of my know-how aside, I think this is a great classroom exercise to take knowledge of a literary work and apply it in a new form.
Exercise: Create a business card for a character.
- Choose a character in the literary work you are currently studying.
- Create a business card for this character that shows off the personality, the occupation, and details specific to the literary work.
Bonus Giveaway!
I’ve put this exercise on a free printable PDF for you to use and copy for a class activity.
Tried downloading this, but it doesn’t seem to work.
Sorry about that. We had a little glitch. Check your email for the link.
