The new-but-very-promising Theatre In Pictures Blog has posted a series of photos of the work of Canadian mask maker, Douglas R. Witt.
The photo series shows the development of a mask from very raw cardboard form through to the fully sculpted piece. Those of you looking to do some mask-work (Emotional Baggage, anyone?) can probably glean a whole lot of technique from these fantastic shots. It’s amazing what you can do with cardboard!
