Steven Hayet

Steven Hayet is a New Jersey–based playwright whose work has been performed internationally, from Los Angeles to London and from New York to New Zealand. He is currently Playwright-in-Residence at Roaring Epiphany Production Company, an inclusion-focused theatre company dedicated to providing opportunities for actors with disabilities.

His plays have been performed at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center, Edinburgh Festival Fringe, Luna Stage, Tipping Point Theatre, City Theatre (FL), Otherworld Theatre, Little Fish Theatre, MadLab Theatre, and the Atlantic Acting School, among others.

Selected plays include Twelve Hangry Jurors, Everlasting Chocolate Therapy, Date With Death, Hugo Saves Christmas…in May!, and Playing With Fired. His work has earned finalist honors from Art House Productions’ INKubator and semifinalist recognition from the Bay Area Playwrights Festival, B-Street Theatre’s New Comedies Festival, and the Lanford Wilson New American Play Festival. 

Steven Hayet is a graduate of the College of William & Mary and Rutgers University and a member of the Dramatists Guild of America.
