How do I get admin to see we need money? - Transcript

My students are really enjoying this challenging play! They love the message & love that it's not hitting us over the head with it. I'd like to thank you for understanding that high school students can handle more challenging material. I get so tired of playwrights & publishers who think that we need to dumb down material for high school.

We love Theatrefolk and Lindsay Price. Last year we did Deck the Stage... it was fabulous! Deck the Stage is perfect for a high school production. Ms. Price's dialogue is witty and charming, with just the right measure of silliness that can really be hammed up. I know this year's production of The Merrie Christmas Show will be just as successful as Deck the Stage.

I was not an experienced drama teacher and found myself (a Music major) teaching Drama and directing productions. DTA was an answer to my need of direction and focus. The materials are there in every subject area and concern. These have been a lifeline for me.
