Tips from past Producers

Let all the townspeople find their characters and discuss the many themes present.... not just about making important life choices and the pressures we face, but thinking about the commentary on gender identity and what it means "to be a man"... there are so many layers to this play, told in such a comedic way, my group has absolutely loved putting this show together.
Discuss modern day themes that appear in this show - gender roles, xenophobia, etc. Be sure that students understand what this says about today.
