Emotional Baggage

This was an experience unlike any our students had had before, and the audience was fully engaged and drawn in for the same reasons.

We loved the process of putting this play together. It was fun to work through and an emotional journey for sure.

What a great play! My students loved it too - they had a real connection to it.

We loved exploring movement and the levels of emotions and physicalization of emotions.

The students responded very well to the level of work and in depth character study required to produce this lovely expression of universal body language.

The students chose the production to try something different. They loved it. It was great fun to see the evolution in using body language.

We used the play as a competition piece. It was well received at both district, and regional competition.

This play inspires creativity and collaboration. There is so much artistic freedom within the piece, and judges loved our unique "clown" approach to the play. With three Outstanding Acting Awards and additional nominations, this play holds a special place in my heart. It's the only title I've directed twice in my career, previously producing it 20 years ago at a different school. There is so much creativity to explore and I enthusiastically recommend it for class study, one-act evenings, or competition!

We recently performed Lindsay Price's show Emotional Baggage in mask at our District Festival and were awarded straight Superior Ratings and the Critic's Choice award. The entire cast was given the All Star Cast award, as well, because they couldn't single one cast member out.
