Written by Kerry Hishon

Some improv games call for an action to start the scene, but many improv scenes require a character with a specific job or occupation to get the scene going. Here are fifty gender-neutral occupation prompts that you can use to help your students create some fun characters. Try using them for games like Lines You’re Not Likely to Hear or World’s Worst, Family Portrait, or Job Interview. You can find fifty more prompts in the giveaway at the bottom of this page.
